Throughout our life our mind tells us stories based on experiences. Our mind has been with us since we were born and we trust it. What we tend to forget is our mind has been shaped by the people we have been around and are around. Our parents shaped us to be what they wanted. If we wanted to survive we accepted their ways. Our country, society, school, and friends, also condition us to be like them. It is part of the human experience to want connection and acceptance, therefore we act and think in ways that keep the conditional love flowing.

There comes a time when we are ready to create our own story and truth. The conditional love isn’t working for us any longer. We are ready to be loved as we are unconditionally. Life typically throws us curve balls when this time comes giving us the runway to a new life and story. Ways our curve balls normally come up is by way of an injury, illness, loss, depression, anxiety, repeated failures and/or a road block in what we are trying to obtain. If you are one of the lucky ones you are tired of the same old thing and are listening to the cues to change, before the breakdown.

In order to change we must address what is really ours and what we have been conditioned to believe. We act 85% from our subconscious and 15% from our conscious. Wow! That means what we have picked up along the way is 85% from conditioned response. In order to change we must become more conscious and analyze why we think and act in certain ways.
